Romantic Moon has over 3800 square feet able to hold 265 guests. Features knotty pine throughout the building, windows that make you feel like you are outside even when you are not, and vaulted ceilings. Designed to make you feel like you are outside even when you aren’t!

Chapel
Hand-carved doors. The perfect backdrop for any wedding. Features stadium-style seating in a beautiful natural bowl. You and your guests will love it!
Gardens
Romantic Moon’s gardens really bring the WOW factor to your event! It’s one of the unique features you won’t find anyplace else in Fargo Moorhead. Features a water feature with a waterfall, two koi ponds, another 7-foot waterfall, and a wooden walking bridge. Feeding the Koi is a highlight for the kids (and more than a couple of the grandmothers!)! It’s one thing that makes our wedding venue unique!
Buffalo River
The buffalo river is just a short walk down the path! Yes, you can choose to do your ceremony by the river! Your guests will enjoy a quiet walk in the moonlight to cool down from the dancing. We haven’t had a photographer complain yet about not having some great places to shoot pics!

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception here on Oct. 3rd, 2020 and it was an absolutely perfect fall day! My husband wanted a unique venue and I wanted more of a rustic theme and Romantic moon met everything on our venue checklist! This venue has everything. A plethora of picture spots, right by a river, a beautiful koi pond, and absolutely stunning hand-carved woodwork. You can tell Roy and Teresa take pride in what they do and maintain the venue to a T. It was super easy to communicate with Roy and he was so accommodating and made sure everything went smoothly and to my expectations! I would absolutely recommend them for any occasion-Julia Lemke
We had a fairytale themed wedding and couldn’t imagine a better place to have it! The property is absolutely gorgeous and you can tell the owners take pride in it! They have a multitude of options for outdoor and indoor use and on how many days you can rent it for! All for a very good deal. Roy and Theresa were so helpful with the setups and processional of the whole day. In my opinion, they went above and beyond what I would have expected.-Cassie Fowler

I had the pleasure of attending a wedding here today and the property is just MAGICAL. There are many places you can do your ceremony. The . The buildings themselves, which there are a handful of, are decorated with ornate details and carvings of animals. You can totally tell the property is very well loved by the owners. They were able to accommodate helping elderly family members to where the ceremony was held by the river. There are tons of spots to take photos, as well as tons of trees providing shade to help keep cool. Just consistently amazed.- Miranda Miller
Roy & Theresa at Romantic Moon are second to no one! I had my wedding there this past weekend (September 2021) and everything went so smoothly. Roy will be there for you every step of the way. I am a nervous human by nature and he answered every question via text/email, met with me to go over what I had/what I may still need without a pause. His venue is stunning and he makes sure it’s perfect for you with every request. Romantic Moon is truly a hidden gem and I would use him again, but I only plan to get married once. He made sure vendors he recommends were holding to contracts, he helps you set up/take down, make sure your guests are taken care of from start to finish along with getting home safely. This year, he got an in-house DJ, and Taylor is the BEST!!! I can’t say enough good things, except you’d be crazy to NOT get married here!- Ashley
